The boy who was abducted by the incident is the son of Ujire businessman Bijoy. An unknown team came in a car, and stole it while playing in front of the house. As soon as the incident took place, news of the boy being abducted in a white Indica car with a yellow number plate surfaced on the social network. The boy’s family lodged a complaint at the Belthangady police station. Belthangi Circle Candidate Sandesh PG, Deputy Inspector Nandakumar and Dharmasthala Station Deputy Inspector Pawan Kumar have formed a team under the guidance of DySP Valentine D’Souza of Bantwal.
