Anthony Pompliano: “Bitcoin will overtake gold in capitalization within 10 years”

Anthony Pompliano, a cryptocurrency enthusiast and co-founder of Morgan Creek Digital, said that bitcoin’s capitalization will exceed that of gold by 2030.

This statement Anthony Pompliano (Anthony Pompliano)  made on Twitter. At the same time, Peter Schiff, a fan of investments in gold, known for provocative tweets, did not stand aside :

“You’re in luck if the market capitalization of bitcoin exceeds the value of a baseball cap in 2029.”

However, Pompliano did not enter into wrangling and stressed that his forecast is conservative and takes into account many factors that could slow the growth of the first cryptocurrency. If we consider that the current capitalization of bitcoin is $ 227 billion, and the capitalization of gold is $ 9 trillion, then the rate of the first cryptocurrency should grow 40 times over a decade.

“At the end of 2029, the capitalization of bitcoin will be higher than the capitalization of gold,” – once again stressed the co-founder of Morgan Creek.

Twins Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss recently expressed confidence that Bitcoin is much more reliable than gold. They believe that in the future, with a high probability, precious metals will be mined in space. Considering the huge reserves of gold on asteroids, this will lead to a sharp decline in its value.
